Arjun Infrastructure Partners is an independent asset management company dedicated to executing and managing mid-market infrastructure investments. Founded in 2015, Arjun now manages €4.8 billion of capital on behalf of prominent institutional investors.
Arjun’s team of 29 professionals and a further 8 industry partners has extensive operational and financial experience in the utilities, energy & renewables, digital and transportation infrastructure sectors. We offer a proven ability to source bilateral investment opportunities and have a strong focus on ESG as part of our long-term, responsible asset management approach.

Surinder is the Founding Partner of Arjun Infrastructure. He has a successful track record in acquiring and managing infrastructure investments, combining strong asset management and operational experience.
Until 2014, Surinder was Head of Europe for J.P. Morgan’s Global Infrastructure Investment Fund. Surinder was previously the CFO of Scotia Gas Networks and prior to that he ran the European operations of American Electric Power.
Charles has been a Partner at Arjun since its creation. He has held several senior financial and operational management positions in the utilities sector.
Prior to joining Arjun, Charles was an adviser to investors in energy and utility businesses. From 2005 until 2011, Charles was CFO of Wales & West Utilities and, prior to this, he worked at American Electric Power. Charles started his career at Deloitte.
Peter is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Arjun since 2017. His background covers regulated companies, transport regulation, and the management of infrastructure funds and investments.
Peter joined Arjun from the Office of Rail and Road. He was previously an executive director in JP Morgan's Infrastructure Investment Fund. Prior to this, Peter was the Strategy and Regulation Director of Thames Water and worked with Macquarie Bank.
Serkan is a Partner and Head of Research at Arjun since 2018. Serkan is an economist focussing on infrastructure investments research.
Prior to joining Arjun, Serkan was the Head of Infrastructure Research at J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Infrastructure Investment Group between 2007 and 2018 and led the first dedicated infrastructure investment research team in the global asset management industry. He holds a PhD in Economics from Brown University.
Thomas is a Partner and Arjun’s General Counsel since 2019.
Prior to joining Arjun, Thomas was a partner in the investment funds team at leading international law firm, Kirkland & Ellis. Here he focussed on advising infrastructure sponsors and institutional investors on their fund formation and fund investment activities. Thomas was previously a managing director in the Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets division of the Macquarie Group in London, where he spent 11 years.
François has been a Partner at Arjun since its creation, with responsibility for investor relations.
Until the end of 2014, François was responsible for all client relationships and capital raising for the J.P. Morgan infrastructure product platform across Europe and the Middle East. Before this, François spent two decades at Citi in Paris and London. In 2007, he became co-head of marketing and distribution for Europe at Citi Alternative Investments, covering all alternative products.
Romain is a Managing Director, responsible for originating and executing investments.
Prior to joining Arjun in 2020, Romain was the CIO for African Infrastructure Investment Managers, formerly Macquarie-Old Mutual. Prior to that, Romain was the Head of European Transactions for J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Infrastructure Investment Group and was one of the founding team members in Europe. Romain has also previously worked at HSBC and Société Générale.
Rohini is a Managing Director at Arjun, responsible for originating and executing investments.
Rohini’s focus in the last 10 years has been in the transportation and digital sectors across Europe and the UK, as well as in the utility and renewable spaces. Prior to joining Arjun in 2021, Rohini was Head of Distribution for Power and Infrastructure Finance at Investec and before that she was a senior originator in NatWest’s Infrastructure and Project Finance team.
Rhyadd joined Arjun in 2022 as Head of ESG.
Prior to joining Arjun, Rhyadd spent over 14 years in consultancy, working with Development Finance Clients on infrastructure deals across developed and emerging markets. In addition, Rhyadd worked with asset managers in the real estate and infrastructure sectors, in relation to ESG strategy and implementation.
Catherine is a Managing Director at Arjun, responsible for investment operations and risk management. Catherine brings over 16 years of experience of finance and operations in the investment management industry.
Prior to joining Arjun in 2021, Catherine was the Global Head of Fund Accounting at Aviva Investors. Catherine was previously at Deloitte and is a Chartered Accountant.
Eugene is a Managing Director at Arjun, responsible for investments and asset management. He has 16 years of infrastructure investment and asset management experience in the power, utilities, and transportation sectors.
Prior to joining Arjun in 2016, Eugene was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, with a focus on European investments. Eugene was also previously at the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group.
Nick is a Managing Director at Arjun, with responsibility for investor relations.
Prior to joining Arjun in 2019, Nick was a Principal at Campbell Lutyens with responsibility for LP and consultant relationships in the UK and Netherlands. Before joining Campbell Lutyens in 2010, Nick was a member of EY’s Infrastructure Advisory team, focussing on renewable energy asset transactions.
Julian is a Managing Director at Arjun, with responsibility for asset management. He has 35 years of experience in the UK energy sector.
Julian joined Arjun in 2019 from EP UK Investments where he was Head of Risk, focussing on the commercial operation and optimisation of various generation assets and the management of commodity price risk. He was previously Director of Risk at Scotia Gas Networks, Director of Generation Trading at AEP Europe and Head of Risk at SEEBoard.
Adam is a Managing Director at Arjun, responsible for investment and asset management.
Prior to joining Arjun in 2019, Adam worked at Scottish Equity Partners, acting as Director of Finance and Head of Asset Management for the firm’s energy infrastructure fund. During this time, Adam also acted as Finance Director for Indigo Pipelines. Adam is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), specialising within Corporate Finance.
Nigel is a Managing Director. He joined in 2019 as senior asset manager with a 35 years track record. Prior to joining Arjun, Nigel worked as the Business Development Director at EP UK Investments with particular focus on the Lynemouth Power coal-to-biomass conversion including negotiating and optimising the associated global supply contracts. Previously he worked with Eggborough Power Ltd , Drax plc on the delivery of a major biomass asset, at Merrill Lynch on a number of EMEA restructuring projects and as an Executive Director of Roland Berger UK Ltd.
Rajiv is a Managing Director at Arjun, responsible for finance and operations. He has 18 years of experience in finance, with a focus on accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and compliance.
Prior to joining Arjun in 2016, Rajiv was Accounting Manager at Amec Foster Wheeler, a global engineering and construction company.
Mattis is a Principal at Arjun. He joined in 2019.
Previously, Mattis was an Associate with Nebrodi Partners, where he focused on private equity and debt investments in the US mid-market. He began his career as management consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Germany, where he was Project Manager and worked in infrastructure-related industries in Europe.
Mattis holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin.
Christian is a Principal at Arjun. Since joining Arjun in 2017, he has worked on a range of transactions and asset management in the renewable energy and transport sectors.
Prior to joining Arjun, Christian worked as a consultant at Q5, where he focussed on financial modelling, business strategy, and organisation design. Christian started his career in IBM’s consultancy practice.
Roxane is a Principal at Arjun. She is actively involved in all aspects of Arjun’s acquisition process. Since joining, she has worked in the Water sector and on various utility businesses.
Prior to joining Arjun, Roxane was a manager in Corporate Finance at PwC for 4 years, where she focussed on advising both public and private sector clients on large transport infrastructure projects in the UK.
She started her career in Credit Agricole’s Corporate and Investment Bank.
Dmitry is an Associate at Arjun. Since joining Arjun in 2019, he has had a specific focus on renewable energy asset management.
Prior to joining Arjun, Dmitry was a Trading Analyst for EP UK Investments (a subsidiary of EPH), building market fundamental models to guide EP’s power trading desk. He started his career at Gazprom Marketing & Trading, covering Gas and Power business development projects in Europe.
Diana is an Associate at Arjun. She joined the investment and asset management team in 2021.
Prior to joining Arjun, Diana spent 3 years in the Investment Bank of HSBC in London. At HSBC, she focussed on originating and executing equity transactions for a global client base in the Infrastructure & Real Estate Group and Oil & Gas teams.
Chris is an Associate at Arjun. He joined the investment and asset management team in 2021.
Prior to joining Arjun, Chris was a Manager at PwC with 5 years of experience in infrastructure valuations. At PwC, he provided advice to infrastructure funds in respect of their investments in regulated utilities, transport and energy.
Rocio de la Garza
Rocío is an Associate at Arjun. She joined the investment team in 2021.
Prior to joining Arjun, Rocío spent over 6 years at HSBC. Most recently, she was an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions team in London, with a particular focus on the power, utilities and renewables space. She started her career in HSBC New York, focussing on Latin American M&A transactions.
Will joined Arjun in 2018 as a graduate. He is now an Analyst in the asset management team.
Will is actively involved in various aspects of Arjun’s business activities, with a primary focus on supporting the asset management side of the portfolio.
Rrona joined Arjun in 2020 as a graduate. She was initially part of a one-year rotational program within Arjun, across various teams. Rrona is now an Analyst focussed on investor relations and ESG.
Alison joined Arjun in 2020 as a graduate. She was initially part of a one-year rotational program within Arjun, across various teams. Alison is now an Analyst in the finance and operations team.
Marco joined the Arjun team in early 2022. He is the facilities coordinator in the London office.
Courtney joined Arjun in 2019. She supports the team as an office and HR administrator.
